Fostering a better economy. SPDG is an industrial holding company with approximately €3.5 billion in net assets. We invest equity capital directly into European companies driving the transition to a sustainable economy. Owned by the Périer D'Ieteren family, a seventh-generation family enterprise, SPDG is not a family office or a fund. We require no fundraising, carry no LP constraints and operate on no fixed timeline. Following the strategic divestment of our automotive services and logistics activities within the D'Ieteren Group, we are redirecting capital into operational companies linked to sustainable development: Energy transition, Circular economy, Sustainable mobility and infrastructure. We take majority positions in European companies with strong teams and the potential to become global champions. Individual investments range from €200M to €750M. We stay invested for as long as we can actively support a company's development. Through our historical shareholding in the D'Ieteren Group, SPDG helped shape the Group's structure and build multiple platforms into category leaders: Belron grew 25-fold increase in value over 25 years through more than a thousand acquisitions. Parts Holding Europe (PHE) has grown into a major European platform through regular bolt-on acquisitions. We combine the patience and conviction of family capital, the highest governance standards, the ambition of a private equity fund and the vision of an industrial owner. Based in Brussels and Paris, our team of 40 includes senior advisors and is growing fast. SPDG has been B-Corp certified since 2021, renewed in 2025.
