Tech Tour Information

Tech Tour is the largest tech entrepreneurship and investment community in Europe. It engages the most promising tech entrepreneurs selected by the most active investment experts to raise funding and grow through smart partnerships and strategies in collaborative programmes leading up to events. Backstory It all started over 25 years ago by investors recognising the need to meet with companies from all over Europe. Volunteers organised the first tech tours. Imagine 40 investors getting on a bus and travelling for three days across Switzerland to meet companies. Some pitches took place on the bus, and that's how Tech Tour was born and why it is called Tech Tour. Since then, we have supported the European tech community in building personal relationships by creating a highly selective and sector-focused space and synergies between a selection of high-quality European companies and a network of leading figures – investors, corporates, regions and service providers. Tech Tour, founded in Geneva in 1998, is an independent organisation committed to facilitating European innovation. Tech Tour realises its goal by organising and coordinating events that provide a platform for interactions between leading entrepreneurs, investors and industry players. Tech Tour's events bring together the entire technology ecosystem of local and global players. In this way, a Europe-wide network is created to stimulate the exchange of ideas and to promote young, dynamic companies.
