Sparsity provides high-end technology solutions, combining the experience of top University researchers and Industrial professionals. We have a vast Industrial experience to push your development to a more competitive costumer offer, handing out tailored services for business. Our technology comes from the research group DAMA-UPC from the Universitat Policnica de Catalunya, specialised in the management of data. It’s in our core to constantly keep with the last innovations and knowledge from one of the world best universities for Computer Science and Engineering. We started as a spin-off on 2010 and already, in 2015, we were recognised as the European SME with highest innovation capacity according to the European Commission. Sparsity has moreover developed a long experience of partnership with big companies in the sector, like IBM, Oracle and CA Technologies. Sparksee is our base product, a high-performance graph database that makes space and performance compatible with a small footprint and fast analysis for very large networks. Currently our main focus is on city mobility with our product CIGO! a platform for three verticals: Smart Cities, Fleet Management and Open Data. Furthermore, the company has collaborated in many R&D projects founded by EU, such as LDBC, a council for benchmarking graph databases and RDF, SoMatch, to deliver reliable fashion trends estimations, or CoherentPaas to create a single environment to handle information from different NoSQL, SQL and CEP data management technologies. Our current projects include IT2Rail (& MyTRAC) to help deliver the connected train of the future, Neptune that creates tourist routes for yacht travelers or B-Mincome that helps the government to communicate & help the minimum income grantees. Our headquarter is located in Barcelona, the European heart of technology and innovation, the perfect place to grow and develop as a company.
