Sound Scouts offers a suite of evidence-based digital hearing health tools. Our flagship product is the Sound Scouts app including our 'Triple Factor Hearing Screener (TFHS)' and 'Automated Audiometer' with testing at scale supported by a robust management platform. Designed to screen for hearing issues and provide an indication of the underlying cause when a problem is detected – be that conductive hearing loss, sensorineural hearing loss or listening difficulties in noise - the app features game-based, data-driven technology, with identification of the underlying cause supporting a more efficient care pathway. Sound Scouts also offers an APD Suite; more specifically a diagnostic toolkit for listening difficulties, developed in collaboration with Macquarie University, led by Professor Harvey Dillon. The toolkit is used internationally by independent audiologists and allied health professionals, clinics and audiology departments. It features the well-known LiSN-S - (measuring a listener's overall ability to understand sentence-level speech from a frontal talker in the presence of distracting talkers), along with LiSN-U (a language independent alternative), Audicloze (a speech language test), DigiSpan and DDdT (with more tests to come). The Sound Scouts APD Suite offers a low friction, low cost option to introduce APD testing to your clinic. Reports are automated and monthly subscriptions are available.
