SOSTE Information

SOSTE Suomen sosiaali ja terveys ry on valtakunnallinen kattojärjestö, joka kokoaa yhteen yli 200 sosiaali- ja terveysalan järjestöä ja yhteisöä. SOSTEn tavoitteena on sosiaalisesti eheä, terve ja aidosti osallistuva yhteiskunta, jossa järjestöillä on vahva rooli. Sosiaali- ja terveysjärjestöissä toimii 1,3 miljoonaa jäsentä, 0,5 miljoonaa vapaaehtoista, 260 000 vertaistukijaa ja 50 000 ammattilaista. SOSTE Suomen sosiaali ja terveys ry the Finnish Federation for Social Affairs and Health is a national umbrella organisation that gathers together over 200 social and health NGO's. SOSTE, and its member organisations, is a courageous opinion-leader and specialist whose goal is to improve the wellbeing of people. In cooperation with our members and different operators, we build the preconditions for social wellbeing and health, the participation opportunities of people, as well as a fair and responsible society.
