Tavoitteenamme on - vähentää luonnonvarojen kulutusta - kasvattaa ympäristötietoisuutta sekä - lisätä osallistumisen ja työnteon mahdollisuuksia Kierrätyskeskuksella on pääkaupunkiseudulla kymmenen kierrätysmyymälää sekä valtakunnallisesti toimiva verkkokauppa. Tarjoamme monipuolista ympäristökoulutusta ja -konsultointia pääkaupunkiseudun asukkaille, ammattikasvattajille sekä yrityksille ja yhteisöille. --- The Helsinki Metropolitan Area Reuse Centre offers an alternative for single-use culture. We are practical; we run several stores around the Helsinki metropolitan area, as well as a nationwide online store. What we sell is a range of reusable household items and furniture donated to us by the wonderful public, topped with second hand craft supplies and our very own collection of incredibly fabulous upcycled furniture, clothing and accessories. We believe in education; annually around 40 000 children, adolescents, adults, communities and businesses learn about sustainability from our environment educators. Oh and one more thing – as a social enterprise we offer job experience, career opportunities and hopefully new or sharpened skills to those long-term unemployed or to anyone with a need for some extra support.
