Solidoak Limited are a construction and development company with extensive experience in all aspects of the construction industry and has been providing a quality service throughout London and the South-East including the Home Counties since 1994. We can undertake contracts ranging from kitchens/bathrooms, extensions, conversions and refurbishment works to single new build houses or multi-unit sites either on a contract or a design & build basis. We can carry out projects ranging from £100,000 to £5,000,000 through our major works department but can also carry out contracts of a lesser (from £10,000) value through our small works department. Solidoak Limited is managed by father & son Quantity Surveyors with over 60 years experience in all aspects of the construction industry between them, the sites are controlled by our Construction Director who is a time served tradesman with over 30 years in the industry, twenty of which have been spent as a contracts manager. Our site managers/foreman are all time served tradesmen who have been elevated to management as a result of many years experience. Solidoak Limited is a family owned and run business that began in 1994 and has grown steadily ever since. We now have sixteen full-time employees that are backed up by a substantial network of tried and trusted subcontractors. Our annual turnover increased during the 2000's from around £1 million to an annual turnover of almost £6 million in 2008. To ensure that we could maintain this level of progression we made significant investment in our staff, both through recruitment and training. From 2008, turnover suffered with the recession and the lack of new development work being carried out in the country, however we have steadily been getting busier again since 2012 and turnover is increasing again and in our twentieth year, the future still looks bright for Solidoak.
