Originally started as a sneaker resale platform that pivoted when the founder Nazr El-Scari noticed a correlation between how his resale clients viewed the items they wanted vs how they viewed their own style. As a result of this finding, Nazr began to trial a series of hypotheses until he landed on the solution that would become Solecit. With Americans underutilizing up to 83% of their current wardrobe, we learned that how you wear your items, is just as important as what items you're buying. That's why Solecit aims to tackle the over 26 BILLION POUNDS of annual textile waste produced in the US by starting with what you own!
