Snappy Gurus Information

Snappy Gurus was formed by two university graduates back in 2022, to bring industry support and information closer to entry level talent. We began as a small community creating tutorials and events, most notably our annual online careers conference, Careers Week. We have now expanded into graduate bootcamps and a platform to find 121 mentors, as well as recently announcing the comeback and acquisition of Grads in Games. Our graduate bootcamps are short programmes with small cohorts, design to be personal to each of our students, with long term support, 121s and guidance until they land a role. Many graduates are unfortunately leaving university and lacking fundamental skills, preventing them from landing interviews. There is even less awareness for adjacent fields and transferable skills! We break down your work and your soft skills, boosting confidence, resilience and employability - and we follow you along until you land a role. Our newly launched mentor platform is a place you can find and quickly book 121 chats with experienced developers and artists inside and outside of games. This platform is designed to give mentors full flexibility and freedom in how they offer sessions, with many of our mentors offering free 121s for new talent.
