Smith Horras, P.A. is an Idaho trial law firm representing people and families in serious personal injury, wrongful death, trucking, and other high-stakes civil cases. Founded in 2007, Smith Horras is built around a simple idea: serious cases deserve serious preparation and personal attention. We deliberately remain a firm where our lawyers know our clients, understand what has happened to them and their families, and prepare cases with trial in mind. Our lawyers have tried significant civil cases before Idaho juries in state and federal court. Our experience includes catastrophic injury and wrongful death, semi-truck and commercial vehicle crashes, serious crashes along the I-84 corridor, motorcycle crashes, pedestrian and crosswalk injuries, bicycle and e-bike injuries, shootings and negligent security, and other cases involving preventable harm. We also selectively represent individuals in significant civil-rights and institutional-accountability cases when the circumstances fit our experience and trial practice. Smith Horras lawyers study, practice, and teach trial advocacy. Members of our firm have taught other lawyers through Trial Lawyers University, the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association, ABA TECHSHOW, and other programs, sharing lessons from actual Idaho jury trials, trial strategy, damages, storytelling, and courtroom technology.
