SmartCrete CRC is part of the Australian Government's cooperative research centres program under the Department of Industry, Science and Resources. We invest Commonwealth and industry funding into research and development to support the Australian concrete industry. The projects we invest in support the industry's economic resilience and competitiveness, its jobs and future skills, and its sustainability goals to achieve net zero and circularity. Our centre has now invested all of its funding and will be closing in 2027, but do keep an eye on this space to see the impact of our projects and discover future concrete R&D opportunities such as our next initiative: concretesustainabilityalliance.com.
