The American Medical Association (AMA) is the largest and most influential organization representing the voices of hundreds of thousands of physicians, residents and medical students across the United States. Established in 1876, the AAMC is a nonprofit association dedicated to improving the health of people everywhere through medical education, clinical care, biomedical research, and community collaborations.
