Sirlute provides young people with free educational music, film and fashion programmes up to 25-year old’s from marginalised backgrounds across London. Our structured creative, mentoring and work experience programmes have been designed to counter youth violence and lessen risk-taking behaviour. Our young people are at the heart of everything we do, Sirlute programmes have been co-designed by our beneficiaries together with industry professionals and community leaders. Constant cuts to youth services have resulted in our young people being further marginalised and overlooked. Our communities have been the birthplace of many of today’s musical artists and industry insiders. We know there’s a wealth of talent on our doorstep; Sirlute programmes ensure young people access exceptional learning, support and guidance. As they start to grow in confidence, they begin to believe in themselves and realise their potential can lead to new opportunities. The Mission is to lower the crime rate by raising the number of homegrown talent through the industry. Sirlute has a clear vision to create opportunities that will empower and support the youth culture of today to grow. Our Values are at the centre of everything we do. Sirlute is determined to create an inclusive, non-judgmental space that supports young people to be the best that they can be. Regardless of where they are from. Our Values: - Empowerment - Inclusiveness - Discipline - Legacy - Love
