Silver Side Productions provides music licensing, music publishing and digital distribution services, with a focus on identifying licensing opportunities for independent artists and labels in TV/Film/Advertising and other media outlets. Although SSP was founded in June 2011, the company's core members have a combined 25 years of music industry experience. SSP provides worldwide services to find licensing opportunities, collect and grow publishing revenues and digitally avail and promote artist releases to digital retailers. Owner MIKE LOCKE has been in the licensing business for over 10 years at Warner Music Group before stepping off to build and grow Silver Side Productions. Booking bands and one West Coast tour got him hooked early on, and after college he worked in audio, digital and synch licensing at Warner Music Group. Planting the seeds in 2004 by bringing in a label with an emerging act, Mike created a business line inside of Warner Music Group that focused on licensing for independent artists and labels where he enjoyed great success and invaluable experience
