Shilstone is a family-run estate that has been lovingly restored and recreated over the last 25 years. During that time, the house and the surrounding buildings and walls have been virtually rebuilt by our incredibly talented team of local craftsmen. Today Shilstone has become a hive of activity. Not only are we a sought after wedding venue, but with the addition of garden and woods openings, house tours, café, restaurant and archive, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Set in 500 acres of Devon countryside just outside the beautiful Georgian town of Modbury, Shilstone offers no end of opportunities for location shoots, corporate events, company away days, weddings, and so much more. The understated grandeur and quiet sophistication of the house and its surroundings provides a succession of versatile spaces with fresh, clean and contemporary interiors. A ten minute drive from the A38 and easily accessible from London by train to Totnes, Ivybridge or Plymouth, or by plane to Exeter, the award-winning Shilstone estate is easy to reach, and we are flexible to meet your requirements.
