SF Industries, Inc. was founded as a consulting engineering and research firm in 1980 and was incorporated in the State of Kansas in 1986. Our main mission is research and development of state-of-the-art engineering systems based on the latest achievements in electronics, material technology, and computer science. Our main customers are the United States government, the U.S. Department of Defense, and private corporations. SF Industries' research staff includes three specialists with Ph.D. degrees in physics and computer science, three specialists with Masters degrees in electronics, electrical, and mechanical engineering with decades of experience in their fields of specialty, and three technicians. We have published many scientific papers in scientific and technical journals and are responsible for three issued patents and six others pending. The company addresses important research issues of application of computer software in electric power generation, distribution, and consumption of electric energy. Many of our projects have microcomputer-based electronic controllers operating on special software that was developed by our firm. With the explosion of the Internet, we have begun designing web pages for our customers.
