Seven Natural Wonders is an organization committed to promoting and protecting the natural wonders of the world. Natural Wonders occur across three levels: World, Continent, and Country. The original 7 Natural Wonders of the World include: Aurora Borealis, Grand Canyon, Paricutin Volcano, Harbor of Rio de Janeiro, Victoria Falls, Mount Everest, and the Great Barrier Reef. Each continent offers a secondary collection of natural wonders such as the 7 Natural Wonders of South America. Each of these wonders were selected by experts from members of the IUCN, conservation organizations, and other professionals who leveraged statistical significance and not just personal bias. Seven Natural Wonders also celebrates natural wonders at the country level such as Tugela Falls which is the tallest waterfall in South Africa. Any Ministry of Environment or Ministry of Tourism professional may contact Seven Natural Wonders for recognition of wonder status on natural features occurring in their country.
