Seva Yoga Studios Information

Seva Yoga is dedicated to bringing the practice of yoga to Fort Smith and surrounding areas. We offer several styles of yoga for all skill levels, from beginners with no yoga experience, to advanced yogis looking for a challenge, for athletes needing specific recovery and training, or anyone wanting relaxation and solace after a long day. Classes are heated and nonheated, and reflect the style of the teacher. Our Seva classes are offered several times per month and focus on yoga for mental health, co-occurring disorders, and addiction, and welcome everyone free of charge. Our service classes are given by donation and all proceeds are donated to local non-profit organizations. We believe in giving back to the individual, the community, and to the practice as a whole. "After breaking my back in 2010 my friend introduced me to yoga and it changed my life; my back grew stronger and no longer limited me physically. I knew the practice had the potential to heal the body but did not expect its impact on me mentally. Having suffered from Anorexia Nervosa and ED-NOS since adolescence, my yoga practice taught me how to make peace with my body and with food, and drove me to share that knowledge with others. After a second back break in 2013, my doctors were surprised by the speed and strength of my recovery, so I began researching the preventative methods of the practice.
