Since 1992, New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program has focused on offering a haven for retired Thoroughbred and Standardbred racehorses through rehabilitation, retraining, and ultimately rehoming to qualified and loving adopters. The largest racehorse adoption program in the country, New Vocations has 9 facilities in 6 states and serves more than 600 retired racehorses each year.

We don't have many, but the ones we have are nice! Tranquility Farm,a premier breeding facility,is a small broodmare farm located in the Shenandoah Valley of West Virginia, in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our broodmares have some of the finest Thoroughbred and Warmblood bloodlines in the country. We choose our sporthorse stallions very carefully to combine some of the best sporthorse bloodlines in the world, along with the best match for type, conformation, and most important temperament and disposition. The stallions we use are known for their temperament, rideability and trainability. Our babies are bred for dressage, jumping, eventing and hunting. Some of them would also be superb at driving. They are athletic enough for sport and they are elegant enough for show. They are good enough for the professional and rideable enough for the amateur. All our babies are imprint trained and handled daily.
