SEASIDE® Community Development Corporation (SCDC) is the commercial landlord and development entity for Seaside, Florida, the Birthplace of New Urbanism, responsible for the stewardship and management of the downtown commercial area. SCDC oversees maintenance of the town center, supports and produces community events, and partners closely with merchants and stakeholders to ensure cohesive operations and guest experience. Guided by the Davis family’s founding vision, SCDC is committed to preserving and advancing the principles of New Urbanism in a manner that honors Seaside’s original intent while supporting its continued vitality.
