Started in 2001 and nominated in 2011 for the IMLS National Medal for Museum and Library Service, The Schoolhouse Children's Museum & Learning Center strives to engage young children in playful discovery through hands-on, interactive, learning environments that integrate the arts, humanities and sciences in a historical setting. Here, children and families can experience South Florida's history through two floors of hands-on, interactive exhibits Learn art, music, the sciences and more through FREE weekly programs, affordable education classes and specialty workshops. Celebrate a birthday or special occasion in your own private party room.
