Santerno is an inverter manufacturer, with 25+ years of experience in the solar PV market and 40+ in the AC drive-motor market. With more that 3.5GW of solar products sold to date around the Europe and in the emerging markets (India, China, Russia, Brazil, South Korea, Middle East) Santerno is the leading company for the utility-scale projects (top 1 global supplier according with Roland Berger Consulting). Santerno PV products portfolio includes residential and small commercial inverters too, for a complete range from 1kW up to 1.7MW. Santerno Inc is headquartered in San Francisco, in charge of dealing with the North America market (USA and Canada). Another commercial office is in Toronto, Ontario. In May 2011 Santerno started a cooperation with Sanmina SCI for the production of the 100 and 125 kWac inverters in Ottawa, Ontario, which meets the USA and Ontario codes (UL/CEC/CSA). Santerno has the balance sheet in the Carraro Group, a public company, doing business as a tier-one supplier to the unrelated off-highway industry (Caterpillar, Komatsu, John Deere, Agco, etc.), with +$1b sales turnover in 2010.
