At Samana you can practice yoga 7 days a week in a variety of classes, from dynamic flow and classical yoga technique to relaxing, meditative classes in three yoga traditions: Vijnana, Iyengar and Vinyasa. Whether you're interested in yoga or curious, beginner or advanced, old or young. Our professional and motivated teachers offer you personal attention and adjustments to support your yoga practice. That’s important to us! Samana Yoga Center is founded by Eveline Torres and Sanne Kerkhof in 2012. The studio near Central Station and Haarlemmerstreet, Droogbak 11. It is one of Amsterdams older yoga studios starting in 1996. Samana is the belly area where life power lays according to yogi. It is the center from which we best move. Using breath and moving from samana, center of energy, is moving in harmony. Eveline and Sanne, both registered vijnana teachers, named their yoga center Samana being central to yoga practice. You can join any class without prior reservation. The door is open 15 minutes before class. There are different classes every day. Check our schedule. We can advise you which class best suits you. Come to Samana and we will advise you. Every month there is a workshop in the weekend, on a special theme, sometimes with international teachers. Workshops can deepen your yoga practice.
