SALTEN is an independent heavy machinery manufacturing company, located in Slany, Czech Republic. The key values are excellent industrial skills, deep involvement, flexibility, reliability and geographical location of the manufacturing plant. With our build to print and build to specification services, SALTEN custom manufactures customer-designed products or parts of products. At the core of our business are the specialized skills associated with engineering, fabricating, mechanical, hydraulic and electric assembly to commissioning together with particular focus on the tough and most technologically challenging projects. With respect to industrial history and experience, we understand the demands and challenges the industries are facing today. As company history goes back to 1872, we brushed up our skills and knowledge base in heavy machinery solutions, ranging from special lifting and handling equipment through railway industry applications to fabrications for oil and gas industry working under highly demanding conditions. In the years from 2004 till 2015 the company was part of Norwegian industry leading group. In 2015, through spin-off from the group, SALTEN was formed.
