Salisbury High School is one of the largest, most advanced, and innovative ICT schools in the state. The school has a ratio of one computer for every two students with no computer being older than a Pentium 4 1.6GHz. Every classroom is networked to a Novell Server and a Mac XServe Server providing 511 computers (including 135 Macs) with internet access, file sharing, huge storage facilities, protection, security, and print sharing capabilities. With 24 Computer Suites, 14 of which have Mini Theatre fixtures, make SHS an ultramodern ICT school living up to DEC's recognition of it being an ICT focus school. The latest MicroSoft products, Macromedia Software, Adobe Software and the iLife Suite help maximise student learning and engagement.
