What does Eco-Health Friendly mean? ?At Saison Beauty, we are uncompromising about what goes on our bodies and in our environment. We are committed to EcoHealth-friendly practices that guides how we do business. Some examples of our practices include: - Our products are highly concentrated with antioxidant- and nutrient-rich ingredients - We source certified organic ingredients whenever possible - Our products contain NO petrochemicals, parabens, silicones, phthalates, sulfates, glycols, PEGs, DEA, MEA, TEA, triclosan, synthetic fragrances, colors or dyes - By reducing the use of harmful and toxic chemicals from our products, we not only avoid these chemicals from being applied to our bodies, but also from being released into the environment - Our products are animal cruelty-free - they are never tested on animals - We offer gluten-free and vegan-friendly products - We use earth-friendly product packaging and shipping materials (recycled, recyclable and bio-degradable) - We reduced the use of excess product packaging and shipping materials - We recycle excess oils to help keep them out of sewer systems, water supply and landfills - We work with third-party vendors that uphold similar principles and work practices Is Saison Beauty product packaging recyclable or biodegradable? The bottles and jars we use for our products can be both reused and also recycled. Each product is wrapped in a tamper-resistant band that is recyclable. We chose not to produce additional packaging materials, including product boxes, to help reduce waste. Do you provide a recycling program? We designed our packaging so that the bottles and jars can be easily reused.
