Safetytech Accelerator (STA) was created in 2018 as a joint initiative of Lloyd’s Register (LR) and Lloyd’s Register Foundation (LRF) to apply frontier technology to the world’s toughest safety challenges in high‑risk industries. We bridge industry and the global tech ecosystem, helping organisations identify, test, and validate the right solutions before making major investments. With deep expertise in complex, high-risk environments, we lead collaborative initiatives that unite industry, innovators, and regulators, accelerating progress on some of the world’s most challenging issues in safety and sustainability.
