The Sacramento Area Animal Coalition (SAAC) operates low-cost spay and neuter programs for pet dogs and cats and feral cats in Sacramento and Yolo Counties. Our mission is to help reduce the number of animals entering our area’s shelters. We partner with veterinary clinics to deliver spay and neuter services at a reduced cost to qualified applicants. Founded in 1999, SAAC is a 100 percent volunteer-run nonprofit. Since 2000, SAAC has provided more than 28,000 low-cost spay/neuter surgeries.
