AnimalKind is working toward ending pet overpopulation in North Carolina by expanding access to high-quality, affordable spay/neuter and preventive veterinary care. The organization is raising support to open the AnimalKind Community Veterinary Clinic in early 2027, which will provide affordable veterinary services for the Triangle community. By removing financial barriers to care, AnimalKind aims to keep pets healthy, prevent unwanted litters, keep families together, and reduce the number of animals entering overcrowded shelters. AnimalKind also operates ReTails, its nonprofit thrift store, which helps generate support for the clinic and its work.
