Joe's Crab Shack started in Houston, Texas as the "hippest" little seafood restaurant in town. Our beach-side shack theme attracted tons of people from the start. People heard that Joe's was a place that they could kick back, strap on a bib, and enjoy awesome crabs and seafood while sitting at picnic tables with the music playing. Today, Joe's is known as a place for cracking crabs and having gun on any occasion. Joe's Crab Shack is owned and operated by Ignite Restaurant Group, based in Houston, Texas.
