Support Genie was founded in 2020 by Thi Nhu-Y Nguyen with the goal of providing high quality, personalised care to persons living with a disability. Support Genie is family-owned business where participants and their families are treated as part of ours. Over the last 15 years, Thi Nhu-Y worked in health care as a registered nurse. While working as a practice nurse in general practice, she has seen firsthand the physical and mental health complications that come about when persons needing support and their families are not appropriately care for and supported while at home. Support Genie was founded to support these persons and to assist with the ongoing challenges that family members caring for loved one’s face daily. Support Genie aims to support the spectrum of persons living at home from children with special needs through to older persons living with the challenges of age.
