Roundafire Information

The Roundafire Literacy Solution is a digital tool designed to help teachers conduct literacy lessons in the classroom. With over 200 storybooks, Roundafire is a literacy solution engineered to help children read in their mother tongue and improve their mother tongue reading and speaking skills. You can find storybooks in isiZulu, Afrikaans, English and other South African languages to use in your classroom. Our storybooks are interactive and include features such as audio and text highlighting to help learners listen and track the reading. Learners can also complete assessments at the end of each book to test their comprehension. Our systems allow teachers to track a learners performance and measure overall performance of their class and school. Teachers can also create their own tests too for learners to take. In 2020 we were recognised as one of Africa's top 50 EdTech companies by HolonIQ and we have in 2018 won 3rd place in the GAP Innovation Awards. The Roundafire solution can be used on both iOS and Android and on both smartphones and tablets. We also have a Web App as well for schools that only have computers. This makes Roundafire compatible with any system and situation a school might find itself in.
