Ronnie Zeidel’s goal is to help young players and their families better navigate the complexities of the basketball industry. Over the last 30 years, he has worked on almost every side of the basketball industry, which has given him a front row seat to seeing how confusing and at times terrifying the player transition from college to the professional ranks can be. He can walk you through the dos and don’ts of selecting an agent, learning about the transition to the professional ranks, and what to expect in your rookie year and beyond. He’s also happy to share his expertise on what it takes to become a registered and certified NBA, NCAA, and FIBA agent. Ronnie can educate you on all aspects of selecting and recruiting players from outreach to families, student-athletes, and coaches. Ronnie can prepare you for the grind of recruiting and pitching as well as the art of preparing for the NBA Pre-Draft process, the draft itself, and what happens to the undrafted, so you will be fully educated on the global basketball landscape and empowered to excel as a basketball agent. Then he developed and built SLAM Magazine and XXL Magazine. In 2009 he became the NBA Vice President of Marketing Partnerships and Brand Development, launching iHoops, a joint youth basketball initiative with the NCAA. And as of 2016 he founded RZA Sports, representing professional basketball players globally, leveraging his experience with every aspect of the game.
