Robot Springboard is a non-profit organization created to help encourage and develop robotics programs in local communities that would otherwise have challenges starting robotics programs or participating in activities such as FIRST. In July of 2012, Robot Springboard was incorporated in Pennsylvania as a non-profit organization and is recognized as a tax exempt 501c3 charitable organization by the Internal Revenue Service.
