Roaming Media, Inc. was founded in August 2000 to deliver advanced solutions for the enterprise developer. We are dedicated to creating cutting-edge J2EE and reusable object technology. Currently we are working on technology that finally delivers on the promise of true object reuse. The solution combines Pattern definitions and J2EE objects, which not only allows developers to create objects but to describe how they interact. Roaming Studio, our development environment, is the most powerful J2EE tool available. Unlike other development products, it is a bi-directional tool that, using our Smart Synch technology, recognizes what developers are doing as they work. It is also one of the first development tools to support Patterns. This allows architects to define objects and their interactions at a high level, which can later be implemented by developers. Roaming Studio is built on top of a Virtual IDE (VIDE) that allows us to integrate into any Java IDE with minimal effort. We are developing Roaming Wireless Framework (RWF), which is the first component framework to deliver Patterns describing and automating its use. It is also the first flexible wireless application framework to support multiple wireless devices. The framework is based completely on open industry standards (i.e. JavaServer Pages (JSP), Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) and XML). By applying the framework directly to existing core application servers, Roaming Media negates the need for additional wireless application servers; effectively delivering a customized solution at a significantly reduced cost. Our Professional Services Organization assists companies in developing object and wireless strategies. We help companies with the adoption and development of re-usable object technology plus offer traditional Internet sites a top-to-bottom solution for conversion to wireless Internet.
