RNS had its first year operating as a registered, independent school in 2017. The new River Nile Learning Centre (ABN: 13 616 662 134) was established in January 2017 to provide education programs and services to refugee and asylum seeker women, who’s age, visa or personal circumstances prohibit them from being enrolled in the School. 2017 was therefore a transitionary year in establishing two ‘sister’ River Nile entities – RNS and RNLC.
