Rising Future Information

Rising Future is a learning center. It is started by certified teachers with years of teaching, curriculum design and tutoring experience. Our expertise lies in the areas of : student learning styles, teaching methodologies, math, computer science, educational technology and Test preparation. Over the years we have taught students ranging from elementary school to college level. We have stated this learning center with two goals in mind: To provide math learning program which is current, research based, motivational, relevant, affordable, and adapts to students learning style. To provide students with tool to develop logical reasoning and computational thinking. In order to achieve our first goal, we had to find curriculum to use at our center. We researched more than 10 current math learning systems and tools. We looked into studies by TIMMS (Trends in international Mathematics and Science Study), PISA (Program for International Student Assessment), NCTM (National Council of Teachers of Mathematics), and researched various online adaptive math tools. After all the research we decided to use Singapore Math curriculum in conjunction with online math learning tool called IXL math. Singapore Math is rated as the top math program in the world and Singapore is among the top 3 countries in the world in terms of math education. IXL math is one of the best dynamic, adaptive and motivational online math learning systems. There is no better tool than computer science to teach logical reasoning. This is another skill we plan to focus on at our center. In order to achieve this we have introduced computer science curriculum from grade 4th to 12th. Our focus on the need for students to learn computer science has come from our own experiences in the fields of teaching, information technology and science.
