RideHop Information

RideHop was developed in-house at Quicken Loans to overcome the accuracy and reliability problems of traditional fleet tracking solutions. Their solution is more accurate than other competitors'​ tech in urban environments that can obscure GPS tracking. In fact, the RideHop Driver app has been proven to provide accurate and reliable location and status information in tough environments where GPS has no signal at all, including: underground, near skyscrapers, in tunnels, even beneath parking structures. RideHop also has a passenger-facing mobile apps to inform users when their ride is arriving, and a system operator-facing side for dispatch, fleet optimization and monitoring. With a centralized data repository, RideHop makes it possible for regional agencies to subscribe to the transportation data and analytics they need, across multiple modes of transportation. In 2015, RideHop was recognized as a Mobiprize award winner for its reliability and is now serving a robust and growing list of both private and public clients.
