Richmond Physiotherapy Clinic has provided specialised physiotherapy services to elite AFL teams, elite athletes, referring surgeons and physicians, as well as local sporting clubs and fitness centres since 1990. Richmond Physiotherapy Clinic, renovated in 2008, has private treatment rooms and a central rehabilitation / pilates area. We specialize in back pain, neck pain, sports injuries including shoulder pain, knee injuries, knee arthritis, muscle strains and ankle pain as well as rehabilitation following surgery and all your general physiotherapy needs. Richmond Physiotherapy Clinic provides highly skilled therapeutic assessment and treatment to facilitate rapid control of muscle and joint pain and return to activity. All therapists have post-graduate training and experience and are committed to excellence with on-going education. A team approach is set-up between therapists, clients and the referring physicians, surgeons and personal trainers. The Richmond Physiotherapy Clinic focus is to teach you the skills to take control of your own pain. All treatment is provided in a one-on-one setting. Assessments include a quantification of body biomechanics, lifestyle factors and predisposition to injury. You will be booked for 1/2 hour treatment sessions (many clinics provide 15 or 20 minute follow-ups) to reinforce lifestyle/body movement changes as well as including appropriate treatment. We recognize your time is valuable. An effective rehabilitation program will reduce the amount of time spent in therapy. You are educated as to the cause of your problem and what you can do to help yourself. You are encouraged to participate in the process and to take increased control over your own health.
