Resto is a contemporary Belgian-inspired bistro located in Murray Hill. The restaurant is open daily for lunch, dinner, as well as weekend brunch. Walk-in guests are welcome whenever we are open, with reservations also accepted two weeks in advance of the day. Resto, French slang for restaurant, opened its doors in April 2007. Resto has become a destination in Gramercy Park / Murray Hill neighborhood. The knowledgeable and friendly staff is well versed in the extensive Belgian beer list and the European focused wine list. The menu is crafted using traditional French technique, with an emphasis on seasonal & local ingredients. Resto also emphasizes group & nose-to-tail dining with the Whole Animal Large Format Feast. Resto received great critical acclaim: two stars (New York Times), four stars (New York Magazine), Best New Restaurant 2008 (New York Times). In 2014, we were rated as a Recommended Restaurant by the Michelin Guide.
