That’s why we cherish the traditional Lebanese cuisine — with an eye for beauty and detail. Cedars takes its name from the cedar tree, the national symbol of Lebanon. This majestic tree represents quality, strength, beauty, and dignity — values that are reflected in our dishes, our service, and our atmosphere. Since 2007, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming guests to our location on the Westlandgracht in Amsterdam. With a unique waterfront setting, a sunny terrace, and free private parking, we’ve built a loyal community of returning guests over the years. Following our renovation in the summer of 2016 — which added a cocktail bar and a new lounge area — we aim to offer our guests an even richer experience. The renewed Cedars provides the perfect opportunity for both familiar and new guests to experience our hospitality and feel as though they’ve been transported to vibrant Beirut for an afternoon, evening, or night.
