Rentechno Information

Founded in 2010, Rentechno was among the pioneering companies that helped establish Ukraine's utility-scale solar energy market. During the formative years of the country's renewable energy sector, the company developed, financed, supplied and delivered solar power projects across Ukraine, contributing to the growth of solar energy as a commercially viable asset class for investors and project developers. Rentechno operated across the solar value chain, with core activities including: • Solar PV project development • Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) • Distribution of photovoltaic equipment • Renewable energy investments and project partnerships • Operations and maintenance (O&M) The company contributed to the implementation of more than 100 MW of solar PV projects, including approximately 58 MW of internally developed shovel-ready projects. In parallel, Rentechno supplied photovoltaic equipment for 50+ MW of installed capacity across Ukraine. Throughout its history, Rentechno partnered with leading international manufacturers, including Hanwha Q CELLS, JA Solar, Jinko Solar, Trina Solar, Talesun, SMA, Solis, GoodWe and KBE. The company also developed and co-invested in a portfolio of solar energy projects, several of which were subsequently acquired by strategic investors. Notable examples include the Weligen Solar, Weligton Solar and Tavan Solar projects. Through its development, EPC, equipment distribution and investment activities, Rentechno played a meaningful role in the early growth of Ukraine's renewable energy sector and remains part of the history of the country's solar industry.
