There are many OEM courses out there and there are even some hands-on courses, but this is the class that your techs need before they have the rest. The RELAYS 101 Seminar created and presented by Rick Ashton has a wide range of repeat clients. This seminar is popular, in part, because Rick is a former relay technician and speaks the language of relay technicians. But mostly, it is because of the many topics presented in such a short time. Some former students have remarked that this presentation should be spread over 4, 5 even 6 days. The topics presented during this 3-day seminar prepare your technicians to produce a top quality product in the real world. For example: what does it take to test a Negative Sequence Voltage Relay? You need a tech that understands what Negative Sequence Voltage is, how to calculate it and how to make it happen in a relay with a relay test set.
