Redemptive Studios is a Brooklyn company-building studio, founded 2013. We cofound companies and earn our equity by operating them: we take the operating seat, hire the team, build the technology, and run the business until it stands on its own. What we have built and run: • Upright, a venture-backed lending fintech we cofounded when it was two people. It has originated $2.6B in loans and raised $40M+, including an $11M Series A led by Edison Partners and a $20M Series B. Its payments subsidiary, Radix, has processed over $2B in investor funding and payouts. • BowlNow, a B2B SaaS company taken from 10 unpaid demo accounts to 400+ paying centers, more than 10% of about 3,500 US bowling centers. • Chelsea Cannabis Co., holder of one of Manhattan's first 30 provisional adult-use retail licenses, operating a store. Our thesis: pick markets that are regulated, operationally heavy, or ignored by software vendors, and enter them as the operator, not the vendor. The studio runs on agentic AI we built, in production: agents that triage support, draft customer replies, file and sync engineering work, and ship code changes, each behind a human approval gate. Every agent runs on scoped credentials and treats inbound content as untrusted; no model or prompt change goes live without passing evals. Who we work with: • Investors who want to fund the studio itself. Capital goes to starting and acquiring the next companies and extending the technology. Returns come from the equity we earn and the companies we own. • Established businesses with systems in production and data that cannot leave their environment. Engagements start with one workflow, on your systems, under your controls. You own the code and the deployment.
