REAP stands for Renewable Energy and Advanced Propulsion. Back in 2003 we were the first in Europe to test large Li-ion batteries for propulsion systems and recognise their potential. A decade on, REAPsystems continues to be an innovation leader in this technology – designing, building and managing efficient, custom-made energy storage & propulsion solutions for. Our expert multi-lingual team of Degree & PhD grade engineers, lead by Dr. Dennis Doerffel, constantly push the boundaries of the possible. We have an in-depth understanding of all major components in such systems and vehicles – battery cells and module assemblies, charger, inverter, motor, pre-charge, isolation test, HVIL, crash circuits, BMS, contactors, current measuring devices. We're experts in the design and management of battery control systems. We understand the different requirements in different applications, such as low idle power consumption for military applications or high-speed requirements for strong regenerative braking.
