Reading is one of the premier hockey clubs in the country. We were formed in 1904, and joined with the Cricket section in 1959. RHC enjoys a high profile throughout the national and local media. With Men’s and Ladies 1st XI teams in the National Premier League. RHC runs 11 men’s teams, 7 ladies teams and has a flourishing Next Generation junior section. Our youngest playing Member is 5, and our oldest is - well lets just say they are in their 70's. We have international players ranging from U16's to the full internationals, plus a number of Vets and Masters all playing for their Countries. RHC has over 400 senior and nearly 500 junior members and is based at a top class facility in Sonning Lane, where we have been since 1984. We have two pitches at our club and a great clubhouse and grounds.
