Qype Information

Qype.com (pronounced kwaip) is a rapidly growing social network aimed at improving customer service and value for money throughout Europe. Its members ('Qypers') evaluate, among other things restaurants, services, doctors, dentists, hairdressers, government agencies, entertaiment venues, nurseries or sports clubs. All entries are personal opinions and recommendations - by users for users. The portal is accessible via Internet (www.qype.com) and mobile phone (m.qype.com). iPhone, Android and Blackberry versions are available in the respective Apps stores and marketplaces. Launched in summer 2006, Qype is now Europe's largest local Reviews & Recommendation community with over 20 million visits per month. Many tens of thousands of new Qypers and reviews are added each week. There are now more than 1 million "Qypers" and every 32 seconds a new review or recommendation is added. Qype is a name composed of the terms "Quality" and "Hype" and as such it invests significant time, effort & resource in ensuring the highest quality, integrity and independence of its listings, reviews and recommendation
