Purity Ltd works with boards, founders and leadership teams when an organisation has grown or changed beyond the way it is set up to run. The work starts with what the organisation is there to do, who it serves and what it promises. Purity helps its clients decide what needs to change and build the capability to carry it through. This can involve how decisions are made, people are organised, the brand is delivered or the market is approached. Purity was founded by Martin Bremner, a chief executive and board director. For more than 25 years he has led and advised organisations in retail, healthcare, franchising, not-for-profit and export manufacturing in New Zealand and overseas. His experience includes Super Liquor, Dementia Auckland, Ziera, Pumpkin Patch, Jack’s of Fiji, Vision Investments and Unipharm Healthy Manufacturing. From September 2025 to July 2026, Purity advised Unipharm during a period of international expansion. The engagement covered international market development, relationships with New Zealand government agencies and industry bodies, strategy, governance and organisational capability. For selected public and market-facing activity in China, Martin represented Unipharm under the title Vice President Asia Pacific. This included NZTE-led programmes, CIIE and NHNE in Shanghai. Purity undertakes governance, strategic advisory, interim chief executive and transformation work in New Zealand and internationally, with particular experience in founder-led organisations and New Zealand-China business.
