PROMAN is a Portuguese engineering company with 35 years of history, specialized in the development of projects and enterprises, both public and private, in the domains of infrastructure, urbanization and buildings, including planning, design, licensing, management and supervision of works, counting on more than 1500 accomplished works and having recorded in the last 15 years a turnover of more than 100 M€. The company was created in 1981 by specialists from the LISNAVE group, and has since become an important player worldwide in the design, management and supervision of ports and shipyards. From the mid-1990s, the company expanded its activities to the General Project Management and Works Supervision areas, which quickly assumed the most significant weight in the company's anual turnover. Since then, PROMAN has been responsible for overseeing more than 700 infrastructure works for water supply and wastewater drainage, residential, service and commercial buildings, collective equipment, transportation infrastructures (roads, ports) and electrical infrastructures, of which more than 90% went to public clients, becoming a reference in Portugal in the provision of this type of services. Since 2005, PROMAN has invested in the diversification of its valences and internal resources, creating an integrated offer of engineering design services that cover the needs of its clients, having become a significant portfolio in the design of buildings, water supply, sanitation and waste management, road infrastructures and bridges. In 2016, the company is again expanding, creating the new Energy business unit, which is dedicated to providing consulting services, engineering and supervision of works for companies in the energy sector. PROMAN is based in Lisbon and currently has offices in Porto, Cape Verde, Mozambique, Equatorial Guinea and Romania. It also has a significant set of strategic partnerships in China for the Asian, African and Latin American markets.
