Project Picoballoon is an experimental R&D startup developing ultralight weather balloons offering an accurate and reliable source of data for a fraction of the cost. Our mission to make reliable high-quality atmospheric data more accessible than ever before. Born from an international collaboration of students and researchers, Project Picoballoon began as a student project platform where students explore atmospheric science, co-develop tools and methods for internal research, and grow together as a team.
